The Problem.

In 2014, women hold over 50% of the buying power, but aren’t equally represented in the building of products. In an increasingly technical world, this is vastly detrimental. Girls earn 57% of all undergraduate degrees, but only 18% of all undergraduate computer and information sciences degrees. Girls lose interest in computer science for a variety of reasons, and the most dropouts happen in the jump from middle school to high school.
