A proud KC native, Sarah has 15+ years of experience providing branding, design, business and technical expertise to startups and small businesses. She has personally designed and developed over 70+ websites and is an evangelist for utilizing technology/automation to build systems and processes to run businesses more effectively. As the founder of cyclone press, her time is spent providing consulting, high-level strategy, and technical education to take new and redesigned websites from idea to execution. She’s also a mixed media artist and writer who reads; obsessed with books, the intersection of ideas, and how they apply to your latest startup idea.
Triumfia Houmbie Fulks – Founder and CEO

Triumfia Houmbie Fulks, an adept software engineer with 7+ years’ experience and a serial entrepreneur, holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in computer science. Driven by her passion for education and impact, she founded CodeAlgo to cultivate critical thinking, problem-solving, and authentic coding skills in students. Her vision is to inspire and empower the next generation of tech innovators by providing a fun and engaging platform for learning essential coding skills.
Kate Nielsen – Founder and Managing Director

Katie Nielsen is the Founder and Managing Director of On Tap, LLC, where she has been dedicated to enhancing website accessibility and user experience since 2013. With expertise in user-first experience design and development, Kathryn ensures exceptional customer support, emphasizing that “Nobody cares more about your website than us!” Her prior roles include Web Project Manager at Mersoft, President of Indigo Firefly Inc., and Program Manager for SAVE Inc. and Bridging The Gap, reflecting her commitment to both technological and community-focused initiatives.
Leslie Scott – Founder at Re.Use.Full
Re.Use.Full
Leslie Scott is the founder of Re.Use.Full, the flagship project of Do More Good, a social enterprise founded in 2017 that creates capacity-building technology solutions for nonprofit organizations. She draws on her work and volunteer experience in nonprofit management, workforce development, technology and education to view problems from a systems perspective with a focus on intersectionality. Leslie serves on the core team for Code for KC, where volunteers on the Re.Use.Full project team have been instrumental in the development of the site. She is the author of Forever and Ever, a forthcoming children’s book about foster kids and foster dogs, and in her free time, enjoys serving on several nonprofit boards, hanging with her four dogs, discovering ways to upcycle their many empty dog food cans and beautifying her yard.
