Coding & Cocktails: The Garnish | Introduction to CSS Grid (Online Event)

Join us for our monthly coding series, Coding & Cocktails. Women are invited to attend sessions to get an introduction to website building in a fun, laid-back atmosphere.
In May we learned about CSS, which helps us put the “pretty” in our web pages. In our June session, we will expand upon this topic to learn how CSS Grid creates responsive layouts that work consistently across browsers. CSS Grid helps us create flexible layouts using rows and columns, which makes it easier to design web pages without having to use floats and positioning.
There will be lots of guidance and support for those with little to no coding experience so come join the fun!
- No coding experience necessary (we mean that!)
- Wifi-enabled laptop is required
- Trans and non-binary inclusive
- Must be at least 21 to attend
