Coding & Cocktails: Introduction to Package Managers

Session Topic: Introduction to Package Managers Join us for our monthly coding series, Coding & Cocktails. Women are invited to attend sessions to get an introduction to website building in a fun, laid-back atmosphere. We’ll discuss what a package is, what a package manager is and what it is like to interact with npm as a package manager.  You’ll also have time to get hands-on practice working with a package manager with support from our amazing mentors!! There will be lots of guidance and support for those with little to no coding experience so come join the fun!

• Attendance at previous sessions is helpful but not required – lean on the available mentors to help if you were unable to join our other sessions, there are no stupid questions!
• Wifi-enabled laptop is required (don’t have one? Borrow one of ours)
• Must be at least 21 to attend
• Cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages, and dinner served
• Please familiarize yourself with Kansas City Women in Technology’s Code of Conduct.
