TechTalks Social Media Manager

Create and manage social media accounts and content for Kansas City Women in Technology’s TechTalks program. This is an administrative/creative role. Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with communications team on organization wide campaigns
  • Follow and maintain the social media calendar put in place by the Communications Director
  • Schedule weekly engagement posts, session promotion, and curated content 
  • Collaborate with Creative Manager for graphic design requests
  • Collaborate with Content Manager for verbiage needs
  • Provide live coverage of monthly events
  • Respond to social media inquiries in a timely manner
  • Write and publish post-event blog writeup

All of our leadership roles are volunteer based. We value our team’s hard work and dedication towards growing the number of women in technology careers in Kansas City.
