Events Marketing Director

The marketing director is responsible for marketing KCWiT events both to attendees and potential speakers/panelists through identifying and understanding target markets and planning, developing, and implementing marketing strategies that align with the event’s goals. Responsibilities include:

    • Export previous attendee information from Eventbrite and import to Mailchimp
    • Create exciting verbiage for each event
    • Schedule monthly social media posts to promote event
    • Post/schedule weekly engagement posts
    • Post Eventbrite events with tracking links to calendars including:
        • KCWiT website
        • Facebook
        • Meetup
        • KC STEM Alliance
      • KC Sourcelink
  • Post event speakers/panelists bios to KCWiT blog
