We will be downloading the Arduino IDE to program our Jewelbots with. Be sure to bring a powercord and mouse if you prefer!\n\nHow does registration work?\n\nRegister for one ticket for your daughter\, and register for one parent/adult chaperone ticket. DESCRIPTION:Session Topic: Programming Concepts 102: A deeper dive into JavaScript \nJoin us for our monthly coding series\, Coding & Cocktails. Women are invited to attend sessions to get an introduction to website building in a fun\, laid-back atmosphere. \nObjects\, fetching data and templates – oh my! The world of JavaScript is vast and this month we’ll dive deeper into making your web applications interactive.  You’ll also have time to practice your newly acquired JavaScript skills with support from our mentors!! \nThere will be lots of guidance and support for those with no coding experience so come join the fun! \n\nAttendance at June’s Programming 101 session is helpful but not required – lean on the available mentors to help if you were unable to join us in June\, there are no stupid questions!\nWifi-enabled laptop is required (don’t have one? Borrow one of ours)\nMust be at least 21 to attend\nCocktails\, non-alcoholic beverages\, and dinner served\nPlease familiarize yourself with Kansas City Women in Technology’s Code of Conduct.\n\nDo you need financial assistance to attend? View codingandcocktails.kcwomenintech.org/financialaid for more information. \nIf you are unable to attend\, you must cancel 48 hours prior to the event to receive a refund!
