DESCRIPTION:Session Topic: Introduction to CSS \nOnce we build out the structure of our website we want to make it look visually appealing.  CSS helps us put the “pretty” in our web pages. Join us to learn about different selector types\, how to apply styles your page and why all of this matters! You’ll also get to try styling a web page with CSS yourself! (With support from our awesome mentors of course!) \nThere will be lots of guidance and support for those with no coding experience so come join the fun!  \n\nNo coding experience necessary (we mean that!)\nWifi-enabled laptop is required (don’t have one? Borrow one of ours)\nMust be at least 21 to attend\nCocktails\, non-alcoholic beverages\, and light dinner served\nPlease familiarize yourself with Kansas City Women in Technology’s Code of Conduct.\n\nDo you need financial assistance to attend? View codingandcocktails.kcwomenintech.org/financialaid for more information. \nIf you are unable to attend\, you must cancel 48 hours prior to the event to receive a refund!
